I'm thinking of writing how I'm from a somewhat rural school, which lacks diversity, and which in racism can be found.

I oftentimes get into arguments over racist comments people make, and I've lost friends and respect for people because of it.

The positive part is how I have been exposed to different cultures, by living part-time (with dad, divorced) in the decently sized city I'm closest to. I have also traveled to NYC and London.

I've made friends with some of the foreign exchange kids, and my last name is very strange, which sometimes gives others the impression that I'm foreign too.

Finally, I want to attend an urban school because of the diversity. Recently, I went to go see a prominent state school that's pretty rural and didn't like it at all. (And it happens to be a rival of the [urban] school this essay is for)

Do these all sound like a good essay?
