does anyone know if IWU's (or LU's or Knox's) tuition is or can be locked in four yrs? I was using uiuc as the benchmark in price - get as close to it as possible to justify private LAC.

I assumed that tuition changes each year, for the worse. Then I saw this bit in the UIUC thread, which indicates that at uiuc freshman tuition is locked for four yrs.

UIUC locks in tuition for four years, but does what it wants with fees, dorm rates, etc. (Fees are over 2,000 a year already.) Also, some majors have much higher tuitions (business, engineering.)
IWU, a private school, offers no such deal. Friends of mine have a daughter there who is a junior and say tuition has gone up every year like clock-work. idic5, has she decided yet?

db, no. I asked her recently what is one question or issue that she needs better info on to make a decision, and she said, where would it be better odds to get A's?

anyone? LU or IWU, what are the odds of getting a better gpa?

a variation on this question: what is the grade inflation or deflation of each school? Do you have to walk on water to get an A one school. for example?
