Hey everyone, Im English and I intend to apply to UCLA, however Im not sure whether UCLA recognises and accepts British A levels or do I have to take SAT's as well? If they accept A-levels what grades do I need to achieve in order to be accepted? Do they look at GCSE's and what do they require from GCSE's in terms of grades. Last thing, would I get on well at UCLA as a British student?

Thanks for all responses.

All universities in the US acknowledge A levels. (At least the decent ones). You have to give the SAT as well just like all others. And some other stuff. Check the websitr for required materials and forms. Try for your best. Straight A’s? Dont get anything lower than a B and you’ll be fine. I cant say how you would fit in though

does google not work for you, Henry?

@ bluebayou Funnily enough it isn’t right now. Im on my iphone and for some reason google isn’t working.
@Sikorsky Nope we spell it Google, us English actually have a considerably good understanding of the language considering we created it. :p

Not that great of an understanding or you’d have said “we English actually have…” ;)
