Does UCSD have a summer program for incoming freshmen?

<p>I'd like to be somewhat productive this summer and get ahead on my credits. I was thinking of maybe taking some summer courses at a community college and transferring those credits over, or even possibly signing up for any summer programs that UCSD may offer. Does anyone know if there are any for incoming freshman?</p>

<p>I know UCI has a summer start program, and I'd be very interested to take something similar to that if UCSD offered it. Thanks in advance!</p>

<p>It’s loads cheaper to take them at a CC. </p>
