Does UIUC take the SAT

<p>they prefer ACT but I don't think anyone really knows what they mean by "prefer".</p>

<p>I only took the SAT and got in the first day they recieved my transcripts. I don't think it was much of a problem.</p>

<p>There is no preference. They accept either. They just get a lot more ACTs than SATs because the ACT is the test taken by all high school students in Illinois.</p>
