Does UM look at the English score of the ACT test?

I know that UM does not look at writing for both the ACT and SAT, but do they look at the english score of the ACT as it is very similar to the SAT writing multiple choice which is ignored?

Yes, they look at all parts on the ACT except the writing.

Yes they do. If you score high enough, you can test out of first semester English (105)
