Does Undergrad Matter?

I am currently at sophomore student and a member of the Honors College at Pace University (a not-so-respected school, at least from what I've read online). I am currently taking all of the required courses for medical school, as well as those for a Psychology major, and am truly enjoying all of the classes, as I find them both rewarding and challenging. I hope to gain acceptance into a well-respected medical school to pursue a career in psychiatry. My question then is, if I am a good student (a currently have a 3.98 gpa), does it really matter all that much that I went to a undergraduate school that may not be as well respected or prestigious as others (I think Pace is a third or fourth tier school)?

Thanks in advance :)

Where you go to school, in itself, does not make a big difference.
