I know that Penn admits by school (Wharton, CAS, SEAS, Nursing), but do they consider the major to which you have applied. For example, if I applied to Environmental Science in CAS will that factor be weighted?

Thanks, and good luck fellow Penn ED-ers...So nervewracking!!!

Not really, people change majors all the time. I said chemistry on my application, but now I plan to major in physics (not that big of a change though). However, if you put down one of the physical sciences, it may have an impact since Penn is trying to attract people with these interests. Especially if you’re a girl, it seems like we’re running quite low on female physics majors.
