Does USC reject overqualified students?

<p>in a pretty similar situation as OP, was rejected with almost a 3.9 and 2330. i was pretty shocked/upset at first, but i guess usc realized that i probably wouldn’t have attended.</p>

<p>Yes diiters you are the only applicant at USC to have a 3.9 gpa and 2330 SAT and they realized with your unparalleled stats, there was no possible way you would even consider attending such a lowly school like USC</p>

<p>Maybe they picked up on your attitude and lack of maturity in your essays as exhibited here:</p>

<p>“USC is now on the list of schools I hate :stuck_out_tongue: which sucks because the california state science fair is being held there and I get a free trip there to show off my beautiful research project -_-”</p>

<p>Lol USC could fill their entire freshmen class with students who have your same stats. Obviously they want to round it out. I don’t understand why this is so surprising when a school has over 40k applications for 2500 spots…</p>
