I was wanting to know because I have taken it twice, and between the two, the superscore
is a lot higher than the other two.

Thanks!

Use of scores in admission decisions (Summer/Fall 2009 and beyond)
The Office of Admissions uses SAT/ACT scores, including your writing score, when making admission decisions. UT Austin uses your best score from a single test date as one of the items that make up your academic achievement.

no, they don’t.

UT still discounts SAT I writing in year 2010 admission?

UT began using writing last year for admission. All colleges do not use it for their specific majors. i.e. engineering still uses math and cr only

does mccombs use writing?

The general admissions page says they use all 3 scores (from one test). But McCombs just uses the CR/Math scores. And I really don’t understand that.

The official formula has not changed as far as I am aware, and it does not include a writing score. So regardless of what admissions says, the actual admissions formula has not been changed to include the writing score, or if it has they haven’t yet published the new formula.

I am wish so much that they do not count writing score.
Writing section is the gayest part. If you get one wrong, you get 20-30 points off…

I’d like to mark 30 points off your post for using the term “gayest,” unless of course you meant to imply that the writing section is happy and carefree…

Just a heads up, moon_k, you will, regardless of your major, have to write coherent English sentences at the university, as well as to get in to the school, so using sentence structures such as “I am wish so much” is not likely to help your cause.
