I always heard they did not. I saw recently on a post on here that said that they heard in a recent session with Vanderbilt representatives that they did. I’m not finding any info on this that is updated for 2015. As a person with a 30 that is a 32 superscored this concerns me. Please tell me they do.
From their website: Vanderbilt will consider the highest section scores across all SAT test dates. Students should send scores from every SAT test date in which they receive a top score in at least one section: mathematics, critical reading, and writing. Only the highest section scores will be considered as part of the admissions review process. Each time SAT scores are submitted, the student’s record is updated with the new high section scores. Vanderbilt strongly encourages students to submit scores each time they take the SAT.
But, nothing about ACT from what I could see. Hmmm… try searching for this on the Vanderbilt page - under “College and Universities” tab on the left.
I have searched for it. They say that they do not superscore ACT but I am hoping that they changed it this year and they haven’t updated the status. Just keeping my fingers crossed.
I would assume that Vandy’s website is accurate. Many schools do not superscore the ACT.
This summer at my regional information session, they told me they were newly superscoring the ACT this year. However, I visited two weeks ago and they said they did not superscore the ACT. I’m not sure what happened in between the two sets of information I got, but I would assume they do not superscore.
I just called the admission office and they do NOT superscore the ACT.
