Does Wellesley require a senior thesis?

<p>Currently I am deciding between several liberal arts schools, and I just found out that for example, Scripps requires that all its seniors complete a mandatory senior thesis in order to graduate. On the other hand, I know there's a lot of universities like UCLA where a thesis is not required, where it's optional. </p>

<p>Does Wellesley require that every senior do a thesis as well? </p>

<p>No, we don’t have required theses. At Wellesley theses are typically done for honors within your major and require a certain level of GPA within your major classes (3.5, although you can theoretically petition to write one even if your major GPA is below that).</p>
