taekwondo-the best ba/md programs are probably Rice/Baylor, Northwestern HPME, Brown PLME, and maybe Rochester REMS. It is a hard choice b/t a top ivy and top ba/md program. I actually ended up choosing to attend Northwestern HPME over Yale and Princeton, but it was a very hard decision.

As for acceptance rates, I'm not sure about others but HPME has around a 5% acceptance rate. ~1000 people send in cards, 700 receive applications, 120 receive an interview, 50 are accepted, and usually 40 matriculate.

thanks, jcr...i didn't know rice had a combined degree program...

your stats are good enough for any med program...the key to acceptance into a top ba/md program is how you tie your ECs with your passion for medicine. That's why the essay is very important. Again, i'm only speaking from experience with Northwestern HPME (which i dont see on your list!!). Everyone applying has high stats, but they are looking for mature, charismatic, smart, and passionate students who really want to be doctors. Make sure you convey that in your essay and you'll get an interview. Make sure you convey that in your interview and you'll get in. Simple as that, lol.
