Does your picture appear on your high school trascript?

Hey guys! Sorry if this thread is in the wrong section but I didn’t know where else to put it.

So here’s something that’s been bothering me. The picture that’s in my HS database is the most horrendous picture of me… I totally hate it because it gives a bad impression of me =( but I see it every time my HS counselor opens my transcript or profile.

Since colleges must receive a HS transcript from every applicant, I’m wondering if they will see the pictures as well. It makes sense that they will… otherwise how do they know who they’re reviewing?

I do not think the colleges receive a picture of you…why would they need one? It would be illegal for them to use a picture as admissions criteria. That being said, even if they did, as long as you’re not donning Nazi symbols or something of that nature I think you’re okay.

My transcript has a photo of me, but I don’t think those small photos really matter.
