does your school use an online program where you can access your grades?

To be honest, I really don't like those online grade viewing programs. I think that my grades have actually decreased due to this program. In the good ol' days, my parents only knew about my grades from my 3 week progress reports and 6 week report cards. Now, they know every time my grade drops 1 point. What they don't realize is that my grades jump up in the last 2 or 1 week before report cards go out. My final grades are ALOT different than my first few weeks' grades. I used to be able to get 3 or 4 insanely bad grades (70s/80s) and still get an A on my final trade due to my last minute catch-up. Now.... :-(

we have Aeries at our school.. but we didn't get it until last year... i was freaking out when they first announced it, but honestly, i think it would've helped me if i had it from 9th grade, cuz then my parents/i could've found out about my grades (missing assignments, etc) BEFORE my grades started dropping... oi.

Edline. it's ok. i resented it at first because of it's uniformity and lack of uniqueness. but it works fine. so it's all good.

Our school uses a system called PASS(Parental Access Support System) in which you can check attendance, latest report card sent out, fees, weighted/unweighted gpa with respective class ranks, all previous semester grades in all glasses, and grades for each current class along with lists of assignments.

I think it's pretty cool =)

ugh...we use powerschool. It is soooooo freakin' retarded. Our gpa's don't even show up on the report cards now; so we have to bug the counselors about them. In fact, it doesn't even calculate gpa's, so the counselors had to do them all by hand...1200 students (10,11,12).

powerschool
