Hello this forum is amazing so far I am doing average on critical reading in the range of 500 to 550 I would need at least 600-650 points the think is that I dont read the hole passages just the line references and mainly because I am not a native speaker and because of the time.
I am going to take the October test and I really want to prepare well this time can you help me with some books classics or just those witch are appropriate for the SAT and of course interesting? :) I think that would help me the most mainly for my reading speed and vocab.

First off - most colleges will look at what you list as your first/second languages on the common app and see that english is not your first language - top colleges will see this in regard to your CR and WR sat score and be more lenient.

To answer your question - what interests you? Personally I love historical novels and dystopia. To help with learning to be an “active reader” for the SAT I read novels like Catch-22 by Joseph Heller and even nonfiction such as Rise to Globalism by Stephen Ambrose. If you’d tell me what types of books interest you I could give you some ideas!

Thanks for answering Well to be honest I dont have any experience with books so far but I will try to change that the thing is that the university to witch I am applying will want a good score in the 600s in order for me to take some financial aid as far as what I am interested I dont really now but some general classical books witch will have a lot of sat words maybe following a life story of a character or something in the sense of self development and overcoming adversity .
