I took it today, as well. I most definately will be retaking it in the near future :( . Hopefully, I'll have better luck on the PSAE tomorrow.

yea i havent started to get ready for the sat either..waiting till AP tests are over

Really Dancingfeet? thats odd,

Im taking the Sats then too. Have I started studying? False, however Im taking a second class once baseball is over with.

Hey have you guys decided whether you want to do EA or RD yet?

(chillin til 08)

Depends on scores. If I hit their average, I'm doing EA. If not, I'm doing RD.

same

my counselor told me 1460 is the magic number

that kind of startled me.... I think Im gonna do RD

(chillin til 08)

I'll probably do regular decision too.

If I hit 1400 or a 31/32 ish I'm going to do EA. I think the first generation/asian thing might help me a tad. Not much, but might be enough to send me over the edge.

i FINALLY got to see my ACT scores today... and i got a 32!!! english 34, math 30, reading 31, science 32. woohoo!

13 days til the SAT, i can't wait til it's over!

wow dancing feet, congratulations thats awesome!

thats a great score, I have the sat on june 2nd, then the act on june 9th

come on standardized test gods... give me some luck!

like i told, tim, i really think the more you take it the better... for me, it was hoenstly like a coincidence--i kept taking it and i got my "perfect test" where i was interested in all the reading ones and i had background knowledge on about all the science ones... (english and math i would always do fine on)... keep taking it and ull get ur "perfect test" and u'll continue to familiarize yourself with the material...

btw i'm talking bout the act... the sat is HELL, i wouldn't take it again if they paid me

Ya, seriously I think the ACT is way better. The Sat wants you to do poorly, while the ACT ask questions that you have actually seen before.............. not How many sugar pops has Carly had on monday and tuesday if she has 1/3 of the previous sugar pops than on sunday and she started with 456 sugar pops in 6 different packages?

haha that is a perfect example of why i would never take that **** again

I got my ACT score today.... I think I about to cry :(

wutd you get man?

Come on.. we are all in this together

Overall, I scored a 27,which is m points lower than all the pre-test I took. Right now, I'm just praying I'll do better in autumn.

i am considering taking college bio at my high school next year. i was wondering if i would be able to transfer this credit to nd then. also, i am considering taking calc at the local state college. would either or both of these transfer? there are no ap classes offered at my school.

umm.. Id call ND to make sure

I know they wont accept my community college credit

If you receive credit for high school, you will not receive credit at Notre Dame. I do believe they consider the actual class and its difficulty in your application, but they do not take it as credit.
You may still be able to take AP tests somewhere nearby, if you'd like, even if your school doesn't offer the classes. You also might be able to test out of similar classes at ND, but I'm not really sure about that.
I do know that they don't take college credit if you used it as a high school credit.
It kind of sucks. I've taken Government and I'm going to have to take Economics this summer at a community college for dual credit in high school and I can't use it either. I know how you feel. Instead, I'm just going to try and prepare myself for the AP tests and take them next May.
Go to the collegeboard website and you might be able to find information about taking AP tests somewhere nearby and you can get materials to study with in many different places.

We're Seniors!

Crazy
