@chemmchimney @london203 I’m a fan of Starigrl too! The sequel was disappointing.

Oh, you meant me? Thanks, guys!

Do you think it’d be okay to start a BS Class of 2018 thread before April 10? If people follow directions, it would get rid of lots of random threads. Thoughts?

I would think a simple thread listing: “accepted (school name)/denied (school name)/waitlisted (school name)” would be OK… but I will think on it some more. I found that kind of thread easier to read than posts where people posted more lengthy joy/panic/confusion… but that is just me…

I am totally open to correction… just thinking out loud based on things I have read over the past 2 years…

EDIT - after reading below. I agree with SevenDad.

@stargirl: I think you’ll find that some folks might want to play their matriculation decisions closer to the vest…especially pre-A10. After A10, that’s when the “class of 2018” and school specific threads start popping up. I say watch and see what develops…give it at least a week or two post M10…and optimally AFTER revisit days.

The thread wouldn’t have to be about matriculation, just little questions that don’t deserve their own threads (how are you decorating your room?). I’d put it in the Cafe.

@stargirl That’s a really nice idea.

I’ll put it up on Monday or Tuesday to keep the other threads from coming in!

Does anyone else feel like puking 24/7 out of nervousness?

@usernamess No, I feel like eating!

^^ +100000000

I’m more of the punch the wall or buy a huge gift for myself person. Extremes.

@usernames YES. I already have anxiety so this isn’t helping.

I’m with @usernamess, puking is the way to go.

I feel sick to my stomach when I think of it, but I’m not a puking person.

Can you believe it’s only four days?
It’s like senioritis except this is like cruel and unusual torturitis.

And the best part about it…We get to do it all over again in four years. Yay!

I will certainly say that I will post what happened here on CC. But if there’s a rejection I’ll also say that I probably won’t be coming back after that post. You will most likely find me watching TV and eating icecream.

@prepschoolhopes Oh wow, we have to do this AGAIN in four years. I can imagine the even worse pain and agony I will go through while waiting. I’m already strangling and screaming and wishing that time could come faster!

I’m certainly anticipating M10. I don’t know what to expect, really. It’s either going to be the zenith of my life or my darkest moment. I’m just hoping that I get accepted to at least one of the schools I’m applying to…

On M10, please also spare us the “should I pick Andover or Exeter” threads. That’s what Revisit Days are for.

Yeah, don’t do that. That makes a lot of people feel bad.

I really don’t know what to expect either.
