Dont have w2 forms for financial aid. What should I do?

So im in a situation in which my school needs my w2 forms for 2015 as Im now deemed independent by age but I didnt work during 2014 and therefore didnt file for tax returns in 2015.

Is there an alternative way to go about this? Or is this still a document that is absolutely required by my school despite the fact?

You need to tell your college that you didn’t work, and so you didn’t file taxes that year. They will tell you what they need you to do.

If you are looking for aid for 2017-2018…it’s your earnings for 2015 that matter…not 2014.

They are looking for,the income you put on 2015 tax returns.

Did you work in 2015?

No i did not work during 2015 either

as the above… tell the school you did work and they will likely ask you for a non-flier statement from IRS…

I think @annamom means…tell the school you did NOT work…and you will then need to complete a non-filers form.
