The school that I am applying to requires me to send in w2 and tax return. However, I don't work and haven't paid any income taxes. Do I still have to send in these two things?

If you don’t have them, you can’t send them in. Does the school require you to provide the tax return and any W2 forms for your parents?

Where do you see they ask for that? Are you a dependent student? I don’t believe dependent students are asked for this when there is no income. Independent students might be asked to submit a Nonfilers Form to attest to no income.

they ask for parents tax return, parents w2, students tax return, and students w2. My parents can do the w2 and tax return, but I don’t work so therefore pay taxes.

Well they don’t expect you to send it if you report zero. Where do you see that you have to send it despite no job and nothing to report? nowhere.

There is usually a non-filers statement available on your school web site.
