Don't keep scrolling, give me a CHANCE

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could give advice for my chances at these schools. I am in the top ten percent, have a 4.08 out of 4 GPA, and a 1990 SAT score (just took SAT yesterday so scores may improve). I am president of 2 clubs, Haven from Hunger and the Spanish club, am co-editor of Yearbook, teacher of 8 kids at Sunday School, am on the leadership committee at my church, am a Serengetee representative, and a Cru representative. I also work part time at Chick-Fil-A and babysit as well. I have attended the MIT Samsung App academy and am in NHS and NSHS. I have won a global service award and a college award.

Thank you, it would help if you could evaluate my list below:

American University
Boston University
Boston College
Lehigh University
UMASS Amherst
Gettysburg College
Dickinson College
Georgetown University- reach
George Washington University
Bucknell University
Villanova University
Northeastern University

Planning to major in International Business/ minor in spanish or english

I think you’ll get into American, Lehigh, Umass, and Northeastern for sure. A SAT score above 2200 would really help you.

You’ll definitely get into BU, Northeastern, and UMass! IF you raise your SAT score, you have a better chance at the rest too - Chance me back?

The mid 50% of SAT scores for enrolled freshmen at Northeastern in 2015 is 2020-2200. So a 1990 would make it a low reach. It is chancing like the above two posters that contribute to Northeastern’s 28% acceptance rate.

I agree- American, Northeastern, Umass, BU look good for you :). GW is also right there for you, but a slightly higher reach. How do you have a 4.08 out of 4 GPA? You have good extracurriculars, and a good class rank. I don’t know much about the other schools! Chance me back?
