I'm going to be a senior this year, and I still haven't even finished searching for colleges. I know I'm going to apply to U of M and Uchicago but I'm having a really hard time finding other schools. I have no idea what I want to do, I'm good at math and science and engineering would seem to suite me, but I don't want to commit myself to that life. I know I want to attend school with a medium-small campus and in an urban setting. Aside from that, I don't really know what else to be looking for.

Visit some colleges near you, even if you aren’t interested in them, to get some ideas of the variables involved in college choice.

Decide, too, on location, because that can sometimes eliminate lots of choices. I’m on the east coast, for example, and I want to stay on the eastern half of the US, and while that still left me with a seemingly endless list of schools to sort through, it still eliminated a good number. Do you want to stay around MI or no?

Tufts is medium sized and in an urban setting. Lehigh isn’t in an urban setting but it’s not far from NYC or philly
