<p>i'm deciding between University of San Diego and UCSB. UC Santa Barbara has the prestige and resources, but I don't know if i'll be able to handle the huge party scene. USD is a great smaller school, but I'm scared it might be too homogeneous or boring (for lack of a better word.)</p>

<p>UCSB...I've said this before on some other thread and I'll say it again here, if you're not into the party scene at SB, you don't have to be, you can even check out their lj to see for yourself...just look at some of the prospective freshman questions.</p>
<p>i know i wouldn't have to participate in them, but I don't want to feel like an outsider either. </p>
