I hate it so much when stupid parents who have no lives and try to live vicariously through their children refer to their sons as S and daughters as D. They don't even use articles! For example,

"S wants a firetruck for his birthday." "I told D to bring me some mittens."

Honestly, "My son" "S" "My daughter" "D". Not only does using the single letters impersonalize the relationships, it also reveals just how lazy and stupid the parents are. My parents don't haunt these threads and figuratively approach young people. It's so creepy.

Hey! Why not use other letters just to epitomize the lunacy?

"Darling Q would never dream of applying to the same school that F is. That just completely violates their friendship with U."

And for that matter, let's use numbers, too!

"I can't believe 28 just got into that Ivy that rejected 751. 28 is too idolized in my opinion. I'm just a stupid parent who knows nothing about reality. Please, will somebody wipe my bum? I forget how to since I spend so much time on here in an attempt to regain my wasted teenage years."

To all of you Js out there, be sure to avoid the Y3KJLFA34s.

I think it's kind of funny. Parents should be able to use some kind of internet forum speak.. I mean we get to use "lol" and all that. They can have the D's and the S's.

i wish my mom was on here. but when she comes home from work shes too tired to do anything. then again she wasn't involved with my college process anyways.

dont u find it ironic that the op hates when people are addressed to as "numbers" wbut his CC name is a number as well? this guy is one ****ing dumbass.

There's a large difference between objectifying yourself and having somebody else do it for you. Moreover, his name could actually mean something to him.
