<p>D2 just got the dorm move in info letter from UA. It mentions the rolling carts available for the students. I was wondering about the supply of these carts.(We’re trying to move into Ridgecrest West) Do you guys find that there are generally enough of these to go around? Or do you recommend bringing your own handcart? Thanks.</p>

<p>There are only a limited number of carts, so you can’t expect to have one to use.</p>
<p>We brought one from home.</p>
<p>We’ve shipped a small hand truck to Paty from Amazon. Son moves into Ridgecrest West Aug 8 at 8am. Anyone who wants to borrow the hand truck on Aug 7 for a move-in that date, or on Aug 8 after, say 9ish, feel free to PM me and we’ll sort out the arrangements.</p>
<p>i was going to ask to borrow, but i just asked my DH and he is going to bring one home from work.</p>
<p>our move in is 8am saturday.</p>

<p>Last year I was concerned about moving DD into dorm by myself so DH came along…</p>
<p>We pulled up to Lakeside at about 9am guys from Facilities were there to unload car on giant carts (Home Depot) my whole mini van was empty in 10 minutes…</p>
<p>In a series of unfortunate events I broke the door on my mini van, the cable on the automatic door came out and wrapped around the door and we could not close, no worries the facilities guys called a friend!</p>
<p>So on a Sunday morning this guy comes over to help us; the facilites guys told us they would call us when he arrived and to just leave the van where it was…</p>
<p>So the facilites guy and friend got the door fixed with DH, after a while I was wondering where DH was…He was down stairs with all the guy comparing recipies for BBQ!</p>
<p>They even invited us to a BBQ the following week!</p>
<p>This was DHs first visit to Alabama! What a welcome!</p>
<p>We had no issue gettting carts on either move in or move out!</p>
<p>For those coming for AA/UA with everyone scheduled now for move in; I don’t see it being a big issue!</p>
