Dorm Information

I am a freshman student coming in with over 30 credits. I am starting during Summer B and am wondering what would be the best dorm for me. I’m going to be studying at the college of Agriculture and life sciences and I may rush. I prefer suite style but am open to other options. Can anyone give me recommendations of dorms that will fit my needs. I have heard that cypress and broward are probably my best options, but I am very unfamiliar with the campus. Thank you for all your help in advance.

@movinguptheranks Many students are in your position with that many credits and more due to passing AP classes in high school, so that won’t make a difference for you. Jennings is a community style dorm that is closest to the agriculture department, but your first year… I doubt you’d have enough of those classes to make living that close worthwhile. It’s an older dorm. First consider what classes you hope to take and see the interactive map to get a general idea where most of those classes are. http://campusmap.ufl.edu/#/index

Most general ed. classes are offered closer to the Broward Area and Yulee Area. In those areas, only Cypress is suite style.
