Does anyone have pictures of the dorms or sites where I can find them?

Thanks.

Why does it matter? If you haven't been admitted yet, why are you worrying about the dorms?

As for your question itself, have you searched the web?

whoa, why so mean? they just wanted to see pictures...
It's hard to find them on the internet, I tried that last year. ny_lubber you could try livejournal, sometimes it has some pictures http://community.livejournal.com/nyuhousing/

Why not just go and visit? I assume you live somewhat near the city, so if you're interested in the school, it won't kill you to visit.

thanks morningstar
and nyy, I don't live near the city. I live in Nebraska and my parents don't want to fork out thousands of dollars to see dorm rooms so the internet would be cheaper and I could still see the dorm rooms. Don't just go around assuming things.

Shades_Children, I was kind of thinking the same thing. I would hope NYU prospects would be more resourceful and find ways to obtain pictures of our dorms. Guess not.

firewalker and shades_children:

Seems to me like ny_lubber is using the net to get housing information. One of her choices was to post here. Did we have a bad weekend folks?

I remember when I applied to NYU. I went on a rampage trying to find pictures of dorms, information about classes, the area in general, etc. Suffice to say, I found mountains of info on the dorms, including pictures. Without the help of anyone on here. And so far it looks like noones going to post dorm pics so...she better start searching:)

Also try the Wiki site: http://nyuhousing.wikispaces.com/

Wow, I think a few people fail to see the purpose of this forum. It's for asking questions. There is no need to jump down someone's throat for asking a question.

:) :) :) :)

The dorms are very nice, lets leave it at that.

Yeah. You really can't go wrong with dorms here. Unless you end up in a LCT.

Im in rubin, in an LCT. I have pictures, not current. No bunk beds, great view, good space.

Boo @ LCTs. They just don't cut it. At least the one I ended up with here in Hayden. Just ridiculously cramped.

So is Hayden any good?
I saw some pics that I found and it looks quite lovely....any comments?

can i request to be put into an LCT? You know, for cost purposes.

ny-lubber-Hayden is a very popular dorm, it tends to be full of EDs since they get first choice with housing. From what I hear, it is very social and a great location-just a walk through the park and you are at the classroom buildings. I've only been in Hayden for my CAS orientation last summer, and it was nice. I was in one of the corner quad rooms, and it was a decent size and had awesome views.

Mackie45- yes, you can request to be put in a low cost triple. When you fill out the housing forms, you can note it there.
