Do dorms at UCSD have a tv cable line? i'm thinking of buying a tv tuner for my comp if they do.

yep .

Are the floors in Muir co-ed? I looked on the website but couldn't find it.

Floors are; suites themselves aren't.

thanks! a couple more questions:
About how many on a floor? how many share a bathroom?

1) 44
2) 11

That's not as bad as I thought. thanks =)

are floors in erc coed too? so i have to share a bathroom with boys?! ew.... haha

Floors are. Bathrooms are shared by suites in ERC--suites are restricted to same-sex only.

Wait... so bathrooms in muir are co-ed?

Bathrooms are shared by a suite. Suites ARE NOT co-ed.
Therefore bathrooms are not co-ed.

Its the same for all colleges.

Muir dorms are suites?

A suite is a grouping of rooms, some singles, some doubles, some triples, depending on college. Each suite has around 11-15 people and each suite shares a bathroom. There is more than one suite on each floor of each building.

Oh! Now everything makes sense, haha. Thanks!

haha that makes WAY more sense... thanks for explaining!!!

can freshmen live in the apartments instead of the dorms?

Yes freshmen do occasionally get put in apartments, usually with other freshmen.

what about dorms in Warren College? Are they suites as well?

Yes.

Pretty sure that's how the "set-up" is, though the furniture's probably been revamped since they renovated Tenaya and Tioga over the last 2 summers.

In terms of size, I know that Muir and Warren triples were pretty similar; Marshall was probably the smallest; ERC had pretty large rooms, but the noise that travels due to the thin walls is annoying; Revelle and Sixth were somewhere between Muir/Warren and Marshall.
