Our on-line invoice indicated my first-year daughter's dorm as DRAVO. We looked it up on the Lehigh site and it was described as the Choice dorm for 2009-2010. My daughter did not request Choice and she is concerned that she will not "fit-in" with students who have chosen Choice.

My older daughter was in a Choice dorm at another school last year and while it was a good match for her, my younger daughter is interested in a more traditional dorm experience.

Does anyone know if Dravo is the Choice dorm for this year and if so are all floors "choice". Also, if this was a mistake, is it too late to request a change?

kelly, Dravo is a big dormitory.

I believe only 2 or 3 floors on one wing are part of CHOICE in Dravo.

If it means anything, I believe that Dravo is one of the favorite freshmen dorms.

kelly57- JohnAdams is right. the only annoying thing about dravo is the amount of stairs you need to go up to get to it. great for staying in shape though.

My son is there too, in the CHOICE section. He loves that it is “on the hill”.

By the way, the CHOICE kids are not kids who never party or have a good time, they make a committment not to bring it into the dorms or return to the dorm intoxicated. My son is also looking for the “full” college experience, but was nervous of Lehigh’s party reputation as he is kind of low key. He is also in a very intense major so figures it might be a bit quieter - we shall see!
