What are people's thoughts on freshman dorms/housing at Lehigh? Any suggestions from current students? Any information would be helpful, thanks.

Freshman housing at Lehigh is all very nice. You really have no worries. Each dorm has different plusses and minuses. The people who end up in each dorm each think that their dorm is the best freshman dorm. The singles are only available in Richards and Dravo. Otherwise, just relax and go with the flow. You will be happy with what you get.

Do the doubles in Dravo have to share a closet and drawers? It looks that way on the
picture of the room posted on the housing website.

CRL123 - Yes, my son had a double freshman year and they had one closet containing a shelving system. They split the shelves and drawers in the middle and then they each had a “side” with another shelf and two racks for hanging clothes. It was fine for a boy, but his girlfriend and her roomate had to get underbed storage and a standalone hanging rack for their room.

Boy or girls, I would definitely bring underbed storage or drawers.

My son was lucky. He requested a double but had the fortune of getting a single in Dravo that used to be a double. He had 2 closets!! Next year he will be a Gryphon in Richards. He is looking forward to living there as well.
