Dorm Showers?

Just wondering...but are the showers/bathrooms in penn states dorms fairly clean?
and are the showers private or open?
just wanna know what to expect. and does it differ from different dorm halls?
i know that North halls have private bathrooms as it is often suite styled rooms but how are the ones in South, East, Pollock?

Thanks in Adv.

The showers are within the single sex bathrooms. Most, if not all, of the dorm showers are private stalls that are partitioned off with solid plastic. There is a little private changing area to store clothes etc and then the shower. They get cleaned frequently (bleach poured over floor etc) but I wouldn’t use them without shower shoes.

Yup, also the water pressure is insane. It’s pretty nice.

do you know if Shunk hall (pollock) has the private changing area in the showers? @cwryan1 @cabhax

@YourBoyChoi I don’t know if all of the halls at pollock are the same but when I was there for nso, their showering space was quite small and you basically had to take a shower and change in that space. However, I know the bathrooms at south halls have changing areas.

I lived in Shunk. Showers are private. Changing area is open. Nobody will see you change unless they are in that area going to shower. You can just walk in the stall and take off your towel, that’s private.
