So excited about the college process beginning! I was wondering what you guys think are some important features about dorms and dormlife??
You’ll have a place you could (somehow) call your own. Your dorm would be your haven for years best to maintain it that way 
Suite-style dorms are super nice, especially if you have a bedroom to yourself. But often people will go in their bedrooms, close the doors, and never come out.
Even traditional dorms are sometimes not a great place to find friends. You have to make an effort to find friends no matter where you live.
If your college has a roommate matching system use it, and be thoughtful about who you select. This system worked out for my daughter.
