My good buddy and I are planning to go to Penn state(baclors and defrent majors), and we were wondering if it was possible to get a dorm for both of us on the first semester of the first year, or is the dorms given randomly. and what if one of us is going to Penn State Schreyer Honors College.</p>

<p>There’s a section on the Housing Contract where you can put down the PSU ID number of the person you want to dorm with. </p>
<p>I’ve read somewhere if the honors student was placed into honors housing then the other person will be also regardless if they were in the honors college themselves. </p>
<p>It’s not a definite that you will be placed together because it’s first come first serve so make sure you get everything sorted out as soon as you can if you want to make it happen.</p>
