i may end up going to cincinnati as it is my back up school. I was wondering if some of the dorms are nicer and which one is the best for freshmen to be in. I did visit during the summer but i cant seem to remember the dorms and what they were like.

Hoping to bump this for some input from anyone who is at or recently attended UC. The UC site has a good explanation of the dorms…but would like some “insider” input on dorms for Freshman. In our case, not a DAAP or CCM student…

You guys should check out the Facebook class of 2016 page and College *******; look at the reviews for On-Campus Housing. You can generally get a pretty good idea.

The freshmen dorms are so-so. However, they do have some really nice upper class dorms and apartments.

If you are an Honor’s student Turner is an awesome hall. There are some issues with the resident’s halls or more correctly those that live there not locking their doors etc. so there has been a substantial increase in crime in Daniels - a huge freshmen dorm. Use all the resources suggested above.

Turner is a good hall to be in even if you aren’t an honor student. Siddall and Calhoun are pretty old dorms and they look like it, when I took a hall tour of both of them they looked like something out of a horror movie. If you end up in one of those I would definitely hope for Calhoun though. It has better lighting than Siddall.
