Current G'Town students, lets hear about the dorms.
Cable tv?
Wireless internet?
AC?
Talk about any aspect you want.

Cable TV is available for ... what was it, $150 a semester or $75, can't remember (don't have it).

Wireless internet is available in the New South dorm, LAN internet everywhere else (dormwise). Reiss, ICC, St. Mary's and McNeir/New North have wireless internet. (Walsh, Healy, White-Gravenor do not, don't know about the Car Barn or other buildings)

Air Conditioners: You can set them to your preference in New South. Don't know about any of the other freshman dorms.

New South has the reputation of being the "party dorm" -- which to some extent is true, but all dorms could be interpreted that way. Harbin and Village C are close to the ICC and Leo's, respectively. Darnall... well, you're close to Leavey Center.

Feel free to ask away any specifics, can't really think off the top of my head.

Is there some type of commons area with things such as pool tables or a television? Basically is there a student center where the students can go to just hang out?

Each dorm (and each floor) has a common area where people usually hang out (has a TV). There's no specific student center, per se, but there are many hangout spots on campus (... yes, even Lauinger ...).

what about the party scene at georgetown? is the school really strict and everything, are there a lot of parties on campus, etc

Fairly good. Parties are usually Friday, Saturday nights -- clubbing more Thursday nights, though it does occur on the weekend.
