dorms

I will be transferring to SMU in fall 2007. Is it true junior and seniors are losers if they live in a dorm? I just don't want to get an apartment with someone I don't know.
Also, how is the food that is part of your meal plan?

The only juniors and seniors that live in the dorms are the RAs. If you want to live on campus, there is Daniel House. Daniel House is all transfer students. As for the food, the breakfast is really good. That is the only meal I will eat there though because I like to cook my own food for the rest of the day.

Um...you're a loser if you make yourself to be a loser. Doesn't matter where you live. You could live in a box and still be a BAMF!

You get an unlimited meal plan if you live in the dorms. But if you're a commuter, it's $8 a meal. Ya quite the expense. The food is good compared to other schools. I mean, it's not gourmet, but there's a wide selection of food and if you're creative, you can come up with some interesting meals of your own.

It's what you make it really.

Where are you transferring from, asianaryan, if you don't mind me asking?

And the only juniors and seniors that live in dorms are not just RAs. I have some friends that are juniors and they live in Cockrell. And I don't think they're losers.

from collin county community college.

SMU also has apartments, some that are one bedroom and I think maybe even some studios. They are on the edge of campus and are walkable to anywhere on campus. If you look on the SMU website's housing section, click there and check it out. Also call them and ask what your chances would be. Since you're a senior, you might have some priority, you never know.
This might be a great option for you.

Im transferring from CCCC also !! I wont be there until the Fall of 09'. Ryan you probably already graduated.
