when i was at cornell they said that almost all the girls who request balch get it. I think balch is mostly singles but when i visited we were able to see a double

how about the program houses? i’m interested in the risley residential one but am wonderin if it will be kinda noisy. I like the performing arts part but also would like to be able to study. and is it too late to apply since the website said the deadline was sometime in february?

Thanks for all the info. Much appreciated :)

Are guys allowed to stay overnight in Balch?

no. 1234567

@ jrh221: it is definitely not too late to sign up for program housing! i live in risley and it’s awesome - if you have any questions, PM me and i’ll answer them as best as i can.

guys are not supposed to stay overnight in balch, but it has been done, and can be done easily; however, not regularly i’m sure. i think with balch it is hit or miss on whether you like it. you do have nicer rooms, but it is less social/you wont have the same interaction/freedom with really interesting people that are guys that can be a fun part of being a freshman. if you request it, i think you are almost guaranteed a spot, they actually place girls in who dont request it sometimes.

if i request a single is it most probable that i’ll be put in dickson? does anyone know how much of kay court bauer is comprised of singles? the website says that kcb consists of singles and doubles, but not really how much of each.

In CKB, there are 4 people in doubles for every 1 person in a single. `
