<p>Some freshmen dorms are great–new with great social spaces. Others are pretty ratty. However, none of the freshmen I’ve met seemed to mind where they lived, all had a great year. DS actually chose a less nice dorm than he could have for soph year to continue living (read continue the party) among his class.</p>
<p>Dorms very greatly in size, age and location. There’s no telling what you’re gunna get (unless you apply to live in East Wheelock).
Dunno about the frats/sororities but i know the frats’ basements smell like pee. </p>
<p>And a bunch of the frats have puppies and they’re adorable!!!</p>
<p>I actually got to go into Bonesgate (well snuck in) and the basement was horrendous. Beer everywhere, flies, just disgusting. The rooms were quite nice though. Beta house, on the other hand, just got some money to fix stuff up so I’m guessing that will look good. Didn’t get to see the basement, but I’m sure it isn’t as bad as Bonesgate’s XD</p>
<p>You’d be depressed to hear that BG’s basement is not the worst. But it’d be fair to say that all of the Greek houses are much nicer upstairs than downstairs.</p>
