I was thinking of majoring in International business, and i know i want to have a minor in Chinese. I would also like to include Marketing, but the problem is that for undergraduates Marketing is only a major. Do you guys think it would be a great idea, since the two already share some classes or should i just stick with one major?

To get the extra major, it could take from 6 to 10 additional classes depending on the school you attend. That could be tough to fit in. If you can’t quite get there, take the marketing classes that interest you When you apply to positions, you can note an interest in marketing or mention the additional marketing classes taken.

If it helps It has around 4 additional classes, plus a language requirement

Then it seems quite doable. And I would guess the Chinese minor gets you your language requirements. That being the case, go for it.

If you can do it without too much of a burden, then just do it. Why wouldn’t you?
