Is it possible to double major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and still graduate in four years? Does anybody know anyone who has done it and approximately how many courses per quarter did they have to take? Thank you all who respond!

Uh considering you pretty much have to take ~4 classes a quarter to graduate in four years in either EE or CS, that would sound pretty tough.

Do berkeley eecs

Or you can just be a CSE major or EE (CS concentration) at UCLA (similar to Berkeley EECS). What would be the point in double majoring EE and CS?

I didn’t know that UCLA had a CS concentration, I thought the concentrations were only Biomed, EE only, or Comp Eng. Thanks for the info you guys!

From the HSSEAS website:

I’d say that your interests would be best met in the Computer Science and Engineering major or in the Electrical Engineering major with the Computer Engineering option.

lol no…

do CS&E or EE with computer engineering option

if you wanna take 12 classes a quarter, then by all means, go for it

Just to clarify - the EE-Computer Engineering option is basically a CS option (with 1-2 classes thrown in there that deal with embedded programming / hardware integration).
