Hi, I'm currently a high school senior and am looking to apply to UT's art department. I'm interested in majoring in communication design... but I am leaning towards fine arts as well.
I tried searching for information on double majoring in the art department, but have had no luck.
So... Can you double major in the art department? 0:

Yes, you can.

I think the logical way to do this would be to submit your portfolio, be accepted as an art major, start your courses, and later add the communications major.

How to be accepted as an art major:

How to add the communications major:
“You may add a College of Communication major through the Internal Transfer Application, which is open once each fall and spring semester.”
