Double-Major in Economics ad Communications?

I was looking through the NU site and I didn't quite understand if this double major is possible? If it is, how would you have to go about getting it?

What about other double majors? Is it possible/easy to dual-degree across different schools?

Also, is it possible to do this while still staying sane, or will it be too much work (considering it will probably be two completely different sets of courses)

I was actually thinking about this course as well. In order to do this, you'll need to transfer from Weinberg to School of Communications and you'll declare a primary major in the communications school and declare a secondary major in Weinberg. I don't think there is any difference in the way they treat you, you're just categorized as a Communications student side majoring at Weinberg. The transfer part is actually pretty easy and can be done with a phonecall if I can recall correctly.
Other than that, I don't know how difficult it is to push through both majors although I know many people do it. I was looking into this pair until I talked with the chair of Econ dept and concluded that having a second major is pretty unnecessary for my career track. I'll be minoring in BIP :)

Is it fairly easy to transfer from the main College to the School of Communications?

Also is it possible to a major in Econ with a dual minor in communications and BIP? I've heard that dual-minors within a particular college are not allowed, but what about across two. (I'm assuming you probably can't do this either)

You wouldn't need to transfer. NU makes it easy to double major across schools, and many students do it. I might be wrong, but I think you can only have one minor.
