I'm currently going to be a high school senior in the fall, and with June coming to an end and application time rolling around, I was wondering whether it was better to do a double major or a major and two minors? Vanderbilt is currently my top choice, but they don't have a Zoology major which I'm pretty bummed about. I know that if I attend Vanderbilt, I will mostly likely do an Ecology, Evolution & Organismal Biology major, but thats all I'm sure about. They only have Astronomy and Geology as minors, and I absolutely LOVE those subjects. So would it be better to do a Biology major with another major even if the other major dosen't interest me, or would it be better to major in Biology with minors in Geology and Astronomy? I want to work at a game reserve or wildlife conservation somewhere in South Africa or around the Montana/Utah region or become a vet or go to medical school.

Take classes in the major you're not sure about, and if you find that you're not as interested in it, then go with the Bio major and the Geology and Astronomy minors.
