I have two different interests-- english and polysci.
I know that in some schools having 2 different interests may be beneficial but for Yale.. I heard that it was very difficult to double major, etc.

So in writing my supplement, and focusing on some specific programs that attract me to Yale, do you think it'd be better for me to just focus on one rather than both enlgihs and polysci?
Are there even programs for me to combine those two interests and pursue both? (I've perused the Yale site, but can't seem to find any info. on this)

While you certainly can write about both of your interests in the supplement, if you are admitted to Yale, you must petition the university to have a double major, and at present, it’s not possible to have a major and a minor. See:

You actually don’t choose a major until end of soph yr for humanities. Thus when Yale admits you, they don’t really look at whether you are planning on being an english or poly sci major. But if answering a why Yale question and you like both, then put down both or all reasons.
