In terms of future job chances, what is the difference between a major with a concentration, a major and a minor, a double major and a dual degree? Is it honestly worth the extra time to pursue the latter?

In terms of a job, the only thing that matters is meeting the basic requirements for the job. So, double majors, etc. that go beyond that probably don’t help much.

The additional educational pursuit does make you more of a renaissance person. It ensures you study stuff you love and not just stuff to get a job.

Although, the URL degrees seem to really complement each other to fit specific career tracks.

Well. For the new kids recently get hired into the company I am working. Noticed more Finance major with minor in economics/others. It’s not a necessity but a nice to have. If two kids have the same criteria, I would go for the one with a double or minor since they go beyond.
