Regardless of the school, how do you double major? I don't really understand, do you pay more tuition wise in order to have two majors, or do you use elective spots for the other major? Basically, does a double major cost extra at a majority of schools?

To double major means to take the additional courses for a second major. If your school charges by unit, it can cost more in tuition. If you pay flat rate for as a full-time student (eg. 12+ units = $10,000), then taking more classes shouldn’t cost more in tuition. However don’t forget: it will cost more in terms of time spent studying and money for books.

Yes, not to mention double price of books, etc. And double the stress. You most certainly pay in stress.
