Double major

Does anyone think its worth it to double major? I’m an npb major and i was wondering if it would help my medical school application or if its not worth the extra work. If it is worth doing, what do you think would work better? I’m torn between psychology with an emphasis on neuroscience or a major in spanish. They both interest me, they are both beneficial, and I took both of them in high school. If you think it’s worth it to double major, could you help me decide between the two?

in the context of med school, i would say no if it would bring down your GPA, but yes if you think it would stay the same or raise it.
another lighter alternative is majoring in what you like while also taking the med school reqs - this will ensure you stand out among the other biological sciences majors.
also, language majors generally focus more on culture, philosophy, and literature of the country/language. i’m just saying this because i wanted to double major with german until i figured out that it’s not all language classes at all and that it was more of a “german studies” type course.

Somewhat related question: Am I allowed to double major in mathematics and psychology with a math emphasis?

i think the only restriction is that only 20% of UD class credits can be shared between the two. so yeah you can probably figure it out
