I was wondering what your opinions were about double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. I'm more into Automotive Engineering but the Aerospace degree is only an additional 9 credits. Would it be worth double majoring just to get the additional degree for only 3 extra classes? Thanks!

If you’re not interested in Aero then I wouldn’t recommend it. Instead take additional ME classes (and increase the depth and breath of your ME knowledge), and/or if you want to take the additional time, use it for the “Combined Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree Program”. The master’s will prove a lot more useful.

Good Luck!

PS: Plenty of ME’s get hired into the aero industry, taking more ME classes (and increasing your ME knowledge) would also help in getting hired into that industry…
