What would be a good double major to add with Biology? I’m going to be a sophomore if that makes a difference.
There is difference between double major and dual degree.
Double major means 2 majors in the same college of the same degree (BA + BA, BBA + BBA etc). Graduates get only one diploma.
Dual (simultaneous) degree means that graduates get two diplomas with 2 different degrees (BBA + BS, BS + BA etc) or from 2 different colleges.
Are you premed /prevet /predent?
BS, BA or BSA? If BS, do you consider Opt 8 - Teaching?
Why are studying biology, and what do you want to do with your degree?
@“Ya Ya” yes, I am premed.
I am studying it cause it’ll help me for med school and I love science.
Why do you need another major? If you already know you’re going to med school it’s just a waste of money that could be used towards your MD.
Its usually easier to double major within your college, in this case CNS. This is because you have roughly the same prerequisites, so you have already completed them. Another option is a certificate program, which is basically like a minor. You can get a Computer Science certificate or a Business Foundations Certificate. Both require about 7 courses and would fit well with Biology.
Yeah I wanted to double major within CNS so I’ll probably do that.
You really don’t know what you want!
First was pre-med, then Government, then Business, and now double major within CNS…
You don’t need double major within CNS.
If you are afraid you will not make it to med school and want to stay employable with biology only, here is the best employable option # 10

This option is good only if you really like Math. If you don’t, then take BSA + something,
@“Ya Ya” don’t have to be so rude about. Damn college is all about that to explore what you like. If you don’t like then don’t comment. I hate people like you.
