I would like to go to law school. I am currently deciding what to major in. I was a bio major, but decided to switch to political science because I decided that I would want to work in law. But, the coursework for that major is fairly easy and I read online that people who tend to major in other areas get a higher LSAT score. I want to double major in political science and economics or psychology. I am having a hard time deciding which one to choose. I would have a higher GPA if I decided to major is psychology because there are fewer math classes needed. In your opinion, which major would be more beneficial for law school?
Any major can apply to and be successful in law school. It’s not about the major, it’s about the student.
However, if you are strongly considering law school, majors that focus on critical thinking and writing can be good.
I’ve also heard that STEM majors do very well.
At the end of the day, pick something you want to study.
